| | Circle Y Saddles | | Circle Y of Yoakum, Texas was formed about forty years ago and is now a major supplier of saddles, tack and accessories for the Western Industry. A number of major changes in their product line have occurred recently since Circle Y was sold to the folks that own Tucker Trail Saddles. As with all mass produced saddles be sure to find out what type tree the saddle is built on (semi-quarter horse, full quarter horse, etc.), to find out if that style saddle will work for your horse’s conformation. Keep in mind that the saddle still might not fit in other areas of the horse’s back. The rock and twist of the bars also have to fit. About 50% of horses can be fit this way without a problem, however, if your horse has a back that isn’t considered ‘average’ for that saddle maker you may well end up with a sore backed horse. |
